Pasta Fagioli (pronounced Fah Zool in my southern Italian neck of the woods) is a very hearty Italian dish, pasta and beans being the 'hearty' in this traditionally meatless dish. ? I decided to throw in some bacon to amp up the flavor, and lets face it bacon makes everything better.?
