Tiffen Gets Social with Version 5.0 of Photo fx Apps for iPhone, iPad

While there?s no shortage of photo apps on the App Store for turning your images into a thing of beauty, few companies do it as well as Tiffen, a leader in photographic filters -- and the latest versions of their iOS apps are now more social as well.

The Tiffen Company announced this week updates to their award-winning Photo fx for iPhone and Photo fx Ultra for iPad apps. Now bumped up to version 5.0, both apps add new sharing options as well as compatibility with the company?s desktop Dfx software.

Photo fx and Photo fx Ultra now provide a number of ways to share enhanced or retouched images. Choose from Facebook, Flickr, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, the Sincerely Ship & Print service as well as email, AirPrint, copy and the ability to open in other iOS apps.

If you?re a Tiffen Dfx v3 user on the desktop, you?ll be thrilled to discover that Photo fx 5.0 now allows for exporting your iOS presets and reusing them on the Mac -- image editors can now create ?looks? from anywhere.

Photo fx version 5.0 also brings a number of other fixes and improvements, including faster processing for quicker results and support for the Retina Display on the new iPad (Photo fx Ultra only).

Tiffen Photo fx 5.0 for iPhone ($2.99) and Tiffen Photo fx Ultra 5.0 for iPad ($4.99) are both available from the App Store and require iOS 4.3 or later. As always, updates for existing customers are free.
