Apigee Raises $35M For Its API Management Platform

Apigee has raised $35 million for its API management platform, led by two consulting groups with participation from existing investors. The investment comes from a new investment fund managed by BlackRock, Inc., and Accenture, the global consulting company. Since 2005, Apigee has raised $107 million. The company did make a turn in its perception when it introduced Apigee, its free API management platform. The success of the Apigee platform led to the company's name change.
